As a Cook at HMP Altcourse, you'll play a crucial role in supervising and coaching prisoners in the production of 1200 plus meals 3 times a day. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene, and allergen awareness. Your commitment to overseeing cleaning procedures, stock rotation, and adherence to Health & Safety procedures will not only impact the daily operations of the kitchen but will also foster a positive and secure environment. You will be working alongside prisoners.

The Ideal Candidate:
- You will need City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ Level 1 and 2 in food production and cooking.
- Some industrial catering experience is desirable but not necessary.
- It would be advantageous if you have experience instructing/supporting people with challenging behaviour.
- Experience in a prison or forces environment is desirable but not necessary.
