F. Schumacher & Co. is a creative powerhouse at the intersection of heritage craftsmanship and bold innovation. As a design-driven leader in the global interior design industry, we’re redefining what it means to bring beauty, character, and meaning into people’s homes. Our portfolio includes some of the most iconic fabrics, wallpapers, trims, and furnishings in the world—beloved by designers, tastemakers, and visionaries. We’re growing fast, with a team of over 500 globally and showrooms in cities from New York to London. But more than that, we’re building a company culture rooted in deep ownership, agility, and purpose. We believe design changes lives—and our work proves it every day.

We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Procurement Operations Lead to support our rapidly growing UK operations. This is not a back-office role. It’s a critical seat at the table—where supply chain precision meets business impact. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between vendors, logistics, and our global procurement team. You’ll not only ensure purchase orders move on time—you’ll help us build smarter systems, scale our supply chain, and elevate our operational excellence across borders. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving, design-obsessed company where your work will be seen, felt, and appreciated. If you thrive in complexity, obsess over process, and love turning chaos into clarity—this role is for you.

Procurement is at the heart of our customer experience—and in this role, you will directly shape how Schumacher delivers on its promise of timeless, high-quality design. You’ll work with brilliant teammates, contribute to a company on the rise, and help build a best-in-class operation that sets new standards in our industry.

What You’ll Own

  • Procurement Execution: Manage end-to-end PO lifecycles—issue, track, consolidate, and optimize for cost and speed. Partner with global teammates to ensure timely inbound flow of fabrics, trims, and wallcoverings.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build trust with suppliers and hold them to a high standard. Communicate clear expectations, timelines, and logistics to vendors across the UK and EU. Track performance, flag risks, and drive accountability.
  • Logistics Oversight: Coordinate pickups, customs, and freight with our logistics team and courier partners. Troubleshoot delays and ensure full compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Process Development: Improve workflows and systems to support scale, speed, and reliability. Surface opportunities to reduce costs, increase visibility, and drive smarter decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UK sales, finance, and warehouse teams to keep everything running like clockwork. Act as a hub for communication and alignment across teams.

Who You Are

  • 2–3 years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain—ideally within textiles, design, or luxury consumer goods.
  • You’ve worked with EU/UK vendors and freight partners and understand what good looks like.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-obsessed, and relentless about follow-through.
  • A systems thinker who enjoys improving processes and making things scale.
  • A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
  • Curious, pragmatic, and energized by the opportunity to build something better.
