Working closely with the Head of FP&A, your focus will be to shape financial processes, support strategic projects, and drive performance. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting budgeting, pricing, and ad hoc financial analysis across the business
- Collaborating with engineers and project leads to report on project performance and consolidate data into broader financial models
- Building and improving systems and processes to enhance data capture and reporting
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand project timelines, budgets, and financial risks
- Producing financial reports and presenting insights to senior leadership
- Contributing to the implementation of new systems and tools to support business growth
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Project Finance Analyst / Finance Business Partner / Commercial Analyst / Management Accountant
- Exposure to project-based environments, ideally within defence, manufacturing, or R&D sectors
- A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and stakeholder engagement
- Strong Excel skills (Power BI experience is a plus)
- Experience with ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
