We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptionally talented Application Simulation Powertrain Engineer to join our Simulation group within the Engineering Office at Enstone. This position will play a crucial role in helping us push for podiums and race wins.

Your Challenge: As an Application Simulation Powertrain Engineer, you will be at the forefront of high-frequency torsional analysis and 3D multibody simulations. Your expertise in powertrain dynamics will be crucial in developing and validating simulation models that meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. You will also work on lubrication analysis using both 1D and 3D methods, including Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH). Additionally, you will read, interpret, and process experimental data to correlate models, actively contributing to the creation of future powertrain systems. Your role will be predominantly application-focused, requiring a proactive approach to collaboration with other team members.

Who We Want: We are looking for someone with extensive experience in powertrain systems, educated to degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. You must have a deep understanding and extensive experience in high-frequency torsional analysis and powertrain dynamics. Knowledge of lubrication analysis using 1D and 3D methods, including SPH, is highly desirable. Proficiency in simulation software such as Multibody and Dymola is required. Experience with Altair (MotionSolve, MotionView, NanoFluidX), Matlab, and Python is appreciated. You should be highly skilled in reading, interpreting, and processing experimental data to correlate models. Additionally, you must excel in teamwork and demonstrate a proactive approach to collaboration with other team members.
