Robert Half is recruiting for an Interim SAP GRC Consultant (Utilities Sector). Robert Half is working with a global consulting firm to appoint an experienced SAP GRC Consultant on a high-impact engagement within the utilities sector. This is a hands-on delivery role ideal for someone who understands SAP security and GRC12 access control in a regulated environment and can confidently support both project and audit remediation workstreams.
Contract Assignment Details:
- Location: Coventry (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)
- Start Date: ASAP estimated time with onboarding c.2-3 weeks
- Contract Length: 6 months initially
- Rate: £500–£600/day via umbrella
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support on SAP security and GRC12 Access Control
- Design, maintain, and optimise roles, authorisations, and profiles using PFCG
- Identify and remediate Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal audit requirements
- Produce clear reporting and documentation to support controls and audit reviews
- Support incident resolution and security configuration requests
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors in a global delivery environment
Background:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP security design and GRC configuration (ideally GRC12)
- Familiar with S/4HANA, Fiori, BW HANA, and BPC environments
- Solid understanding of SOX controls, role-based access, and audit processes
- Comfortable working with Excel and access logs/data for analysis
- Experience with related systems (SailPoint, SuccessFactors, Coupa, etc.) beneficial but not required
- Confident operating in regulated industries or highly governed environments
