The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers with Left-Hand Drive and Airfreight experience to join a well-established and respected logistics company based in Heathrow. This is a full-time position with consistent work across both UK and European routes. Shifts are a minimum of 10 hours, and you will be paid for 10 hours even if you finish earlier. If your shift runs over 10 hours, you will continue to be paid at the same hourly rate. Start times vary depending on the job, but are typically around 6:00 AM; flexibility is essential, as you may occasionally be required to start as early as 2:00 AM.
While overtime opportunities are available, these will depend on your availability and Working Time Directive limits, and are paid at the standard hourly rate. Night out allowances are Β£26.20 for nights spent in the UK, and Β£36.20 for those in Europe. If a driver remains in the truck over a weekend (not exceeding 24 hours), an additional Β£30 is paid. For European rest periods over 45 hours, hotel accommodation will be provided.
Airfreight experience is essential, and all candidates must have a valid DBS check, a Level D (CO) certificate, and will be required to complete a 5-year employment history check as part of the compliance process. Applicants must also have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, and a digital tacho card, along with solid knowledge of European driving regulations, customs procedures, and the Working Time Directive.
