The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.

This is a temporary 12-month role for a Senior Product Development & Range Manager (SPDRM) to deliver Christmas 2026. You will be accountable for driving the product development strategy and delivery of Christmas 2026 product development to agreed critical path dates.

Working with merchandising and commercial teams, you are responsible for creating the optimum Caption and SKU framework to drive sales and ensure products are developed according to this framework.

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive the development and delivery of an insight-led, market-leading product strategy.
  • Use market insights, competitor analysis, sales data, and customer research to develop the Christmas 2026 product range.
  • Oversee cost discussions with supply base, procurement, and commercial teams.
  • Responsible for the Workbook and ensuring product development meets HMK and customer margin requirements.
  • Identify product gaps with the wider team and ensure proposals are delivered in line with the creative vision.
  • Agree on the RRP proposal with the customer and confirm the RSP.
  • Deliver the brand offer on cards.
  • Ensure execution of range builds for various plans within the range strategy, including architecture, pricing, fixture/display, and layout.

We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager comfortable with the full lifecycle and customer engagement. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience in product development, marketing, or related industry.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the product development lifecycle, preferably in a creative-led FMCG environment, including pricing, sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management.
  • Proven success in product development or buying roles, with Christmas experience being advantageous.
  • Experience in performance management and talent development across teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills, resilience, and ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet objectives and KPIs.
  • Experience in building product ranges and articulating rationale across seasons and lines.
  • Ability to translate strategy into action and engage stakeholders using insights and sales data.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in delivering profitable products within KPIs.
  • Knowledge of costing, pricing, sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, agility, resilience, and focus on objectives.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making, trend analysis, and reporting for various audiences.
