Overview of Role: Responsible for sales activities within the assigned operational team, from lead generation through to close. Focus on achieving customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and long-term account development in line with Company vision and values. Key Responsibilities & Tasks: Manage sales of cleaning and related services tailored to individual clients. Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Collaborate with internal staff, managers, and clients to increase revenue from existing clients. Secure new leads and business opportunities through liaising with managers and clients. Demonstrate product knowledge and selling skills across all business areas. Prepare all necessary paperwork such as tenders and proposals. Understand pricing and proposal models; produce proposals, PQQs, including costings and schedules. Assist with input on large tenders when required. Engage in business conversations with owners and decision-makers. Maximize opportunities to close sales and increase market share. Use a consultative sales approach, recommending solutions that meet client needs. Build a database of qualified leads via referrals, cold calling, networking, etc. Deliver compelling proposal presentations. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and provide reports as needed. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Key Skills: Extensive sales experience, preferably in the cleaning and facilities services industry. Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. Experience in managing tender proposals and opportunities. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Trustworthiness, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities. Commercial awareness and financial acumen. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in creating presentations and proposals. Excellent communication skills for delivering presentations and building relationships. Valid UK driving license.
