Your New Role
Valve is looking for a Product Manager to help evolve our Operators tools centered around distribution, helping our customers’ brands and locations appear across major directories like Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places and our Agent/Broker Marketplace. You’ll play a key role in shaping the roadmap for this high impact initiative, combining customer insight, problem solving, and operational coordination with our internal team and external customers. The role sits within our product team, reporting into our VP Product and works closely with engineering, ops, marketing, and customer success teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about helping businesses get discovered online, understands the power of platform integrations, and thrives in early stage startups.
What Will Keep You Challenged
- Product Leadership
- Define and own the roadmap for our Operator and Agent focused products, specifically our distribution initiatives (across Google, Apple, Bing, and other listings platforms)
- Translate vision and strategy into actionable plans and clear product requirements
- Work closely with engineering to scope, build and ship features that unlock customer value and impact
- Align with stakeholders across Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to ensure product market fit
- Discovery & Problem Solving
- Partner with our customers and internal teams to understand pain points and opportunities
- Conduct market research and analysis, synthesise insights, and validate hypotheses through rapid iteration
- Use data (quantitative + qualitative) to drive decision making and prioritisation
- Delivery
- Maintain a well refined, prioritised product backlog and run effective agile ceremonies
- Write clear Epiqs and user stories for development teams
- Lead demos and gather feedback from cross functional stakeholders
- Ensure smooth releases with effective internal and external coordination and concise release notes
- Impact & Growth
- Define success metrics and track adoption, usage and business Value/impact
- Explore new feature opportunities to expand reach and value
- Continuously optimise for performance, scalability, and user experience

- You’ve built and shipped products or integrations in the Sales and Marketing arena or listings technology
- You understand how platforms like Google Business Profile, Apple Maps or Bing Places work (bonus if you’ve built for or integrated with them)
- You’re customer obsessed and confident leading user discovery, with your own toolkit of methods
- You thrive in ambiguity and take ownership from problem to solution
- You’re commercially minded and understand how product drives growth
- You communicate clearly and collaborate well across disciplines
- You’re data literate and know how to test, measure and iterate

- Experience with APIs, directory integrations, location based data or similar

Please note that we are looking for support in our London office. Eligibility to work within the UK is required as well.
