In this Systems Development Engineer role, you will focus on creating innovative solutions to integrate Google Cloud’s technologies into customer environments. Your responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining integration patterns, using existing tools, open-source software, and custom solutions. You will ensure operation through detailed engineering, integration, and automation. You will collaborate directly with customers to resolve intricate technical challenges and secure use of our platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Solve integration challenges across a range of technical areas including identity, networking, and security.
- Identify design, development, integration and deployment friction points for customers, and contribute to or lead solutions teams to work through challenges.
- Deliver proofs-of-concepts and develop these into production-quality solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Provide expert technical support for integration-related incidents.
- Develop automation scripts and tools for deploying, monitoring, and managing integration points, data flows, and associated infrastructure.
- Execute a life cycle of planning, designing, and deploying a solution from development and integration, ongoing communications, stakeholder management, and project management.
