The Store Manager is at the heart of our operation. Our franchisees are always looking for talented individuals to lead teams that help the Subway brand remain the first choice for quick and nutritious meals. Working as a Store Manager in a Subway franchise is challenging but highly rewarding. Our franchisees pride themselves on their dedicated staff and offer excellent career development opportunities. We operate four vibrant stores along the North Wales coast, from Rhyl to Caernarfon, committed to delivering fresh, made-to-order food with fast, friendly service in a welcoming environment.

The Store Manager role involves overseeing store sales, profitability, customer service, and operational excellence. We welcome applications from current Catering Managers, Store Managers, Restaurant Managers, Supervisors, Assistant Managers, or Deputy Managers seeking career progression.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruitment, induction, and training of staff, leading by example
  • Creating and managing staff schedules
  • Checking deliveries, matching orders, and managing daily banking
  • Preparing stock and sales paperwork, employee pay, and timesheets
  • Managing cash balances and minimizing wastage
  • Ensuring compliance with Subway and local regulations
  • Inventory management, stock control, and weekly stock takes
  • Analyzing sales and inventory reports to improve business performance
  • Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation
  • Implementing in-store marketing and promotional materials
  • Ensuring safety procedures are followed to prevent injuries
  • Providing a safe environment for staff and customers
  • Promoting high customer service standards and handling escalated complaints
  • Delivering excellent service in product handling, sales, and customer catering
