Joina major provider of server-less infrastructure, offering real-time APIs and high-performing Data Stream Network to help businesses and developers across the globe create APIs, applications and services for the real-time internet. This innovative company is looking for a highly motivated Senior Reliability Engineer with the ability to develop solutions to boost performance, availability, and stability of the company’s platform.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Writing code in Ruby for the organization’s infrastructure configuration, orchestration, and automation as well as continued integration testing of the company’s infrastructure
  • Using a wide array of AWS services extensively
  • Developing and overseeing the company’s continuous integration services
  • Writing code in Go for a few infrastructure services and routing layers
  • Coordinating with the broader engineering team to discuss, design, and incorporate new services and features
  • Detecting and fixing bugs in all sections of the company’s platform
  • Actively participating in open-source projects that the company supports or uses in its products, including open-source client libraries and SDKs

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Ruby
  • Thorough knowledge and experience working with AWS (or other cloud service providers)
  • Strong professional background in Linux with an in-depth understanding of network protocols
  • Experience with Go or distributed systems is preferred but not mandatory
  • Contributions to open-source projects are highly valued

Your Benefits:

  • Salary Range: £50,000 to £85,000
