Area Sales Engineer (Factory Automation) – North West UK – £40-50k

About the Company:

The company are a global manufacturer of Factory Automation/ Sensors and Iiot solutions ,helping customers across a wide range of industries. The candidate will have ideally sold industrial automation and control products (Sensors, HMIs, Drives, Machine Safety, Metrology, etc).

About the Role:

The Area Sales Engineer role will involve developing relationships with new and existing customers such as OEM/ Machine builders across a varied range of industries – Food & Bev, FMCG, Packaging, End of Line machinery, Pharmaceuticals, Utilities, Etc.

Responsibilities:.

  • Work as part of a Sales Team, performing joint visits from time to time
  • Maintain a company CRM system with contact information, sales opportunity information and activity information
  • Display a technical understanding of the companies products and services to new and existing customer.
  • Organising sales visits, product demonstrations and reference visits

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Sales, Engineering, or Consulting. Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.

Required Skills:

Analytical mindset, team player, strong leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in automation.

Pay range and compensation package:

Homebased
