Job Title: Global Events Sponsorship Manager

Salary: £45,500 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity with an international membership body in the financial services sector to work as a Global Sponsorship Manager in their events team. You would be responsible for building strong, long term relationships with clients and taking the lead on selling promotional opportunities across a busy, international programme of events and conferences.
The successful candidate will have the confidence to not only provide account management services to existing clients but also to create tailored pitches for lapsed and potential clients. Working closely with the Global Head of Events you will play an essential role in the continued success and growth of the events programme.
Responsibilities will include:
- Converting existing, potential and lapsed clients into sponsorship sales
- Sponsorship management
- Establish and manage a sales pipeline
- Cultivate and sustain client relationships, focusing on maximising revenue potential and exploring new opportunities
- Serve as the primary liaison with exhibition stand design companies
- On-site event support
Profile:
- Previous account management and client growth experience will be key
- High degree of organisation and the ability to track sales, potential sales and keep a large CRM up to date
- A proven sales track record of at least £500k annually is essential
- A background working in a professional membership body or institute would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong commercial instinct and ability prioritise conflicting deadlines
