We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Blockchain sector. We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Blockchain Engineer on a remote basis. The role holder will develop applications solutions and smart contracts.
Blockchain Engineer’s Core Duties
- Design and implement decentralised applications and smart contracts on several platforms
- Determine blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and data structures
- Remain up to date on the latest technologies and frameworks
- Integrate appropriate tools and libraries to enhance blockchain functionality
- Conduct security audits to ensure the confidentiality of blockchain data
- Optimise blockchain performance and deal with scalability challenges
- Work with software developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to integrate solutions
- Collaborate with third parties to implement solutions
- Test and debug blockchain applications to resolve issues
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation
- Research emerging blockchain technologies and propose innovative solutions
- Contribute to other relevant projects
- Prepare documentation on solutions, including architecture, deployment, and maintenance
- Train internal teams on blockchain technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Blockchain Engineer or similar
- Highly proficient in blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic techniques
- Strong programming skills in Solidity, Java, Python, or C++, etc.
- Good experience with blockchain development frameworks (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Binance Smart Chain)
- Knowledge of decentralised finance (DeFi) (non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is desirable)
- Familiarity with smart contract security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
