Are you an experienced Pump Engineer? Are you commutable to Maidenhead to collect supplies?
Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client to recruit a Pump Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that pump systems and associated equipment operate as specified.
Responsibilities include:
- On-site repairs, maintenance, and installations of equipment and machinery.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installations of pump systems and associated equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
- Include equipment installations, upgrades, fault finding, diagnosing problems, and providing effective solutions.
- Participate in the Emergency Call Out Rota.
- Work with sewage and effluent systems and operate within confined spaces when required.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, including sales, and provide reports and photos of pumps and equipment.
- Document activities such as service reports, repair logs, and customer communications to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability.
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience as a Pump Engineer
- Valid driving license
- Own standard tools (specialist equipment is supplied)
- Excellent customer service skills
In return, our client offers a salary of up to GBP42000 P/A, depending on experience, plus a company van, fuel card, up to double time overtime, and 25 days annual leave. This is a full-time, permanent position. The working hours are from 07:30, Monday to Friday.
