Excellent opportunity for an AV Production Engineer (£30,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits) to join our Client's expanding team in Exeter.
Your role will include:
- Preparation, final assembly, looming and terminating a wide range of cabling and hardware.
- Testing products prior to shipping.
- Maintain high standards of manufacturing, producing quality, compliant products.
- Assembly and wiring of system hardware and terminating specialist connectors using crimp and solder terminations.
- Looming and interconnecting hardware components.
- Working from technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to correctly assemble products in accordance with relevant standards.
- Working as part of a small team.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Recognised, appropriate technical qualifications, e.g. NVQ level 3, SVQ/NVQ level 3, Level 3 vocational award, A-Level, BTEC National Certificate or Diploma.
- Excellent hands-on skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and follow wiring schematics and technical documentation.
- Knowledge and experience of IT networks, firmware, fault finding and testing.
- Proven soldering, cable preparation and terminating skills.
- Ability to communicate well with other team members.
- A willingness to work as part of a wider team and develop your own potential.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
