Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity on one of our wards for an experienced, motivated, and emotionally intelligent registered nurse with excellent leadership, managerial, and clinical skills. This key position within the hospice involves the day-to-day responsibility for leading a team of skilled nurses caring for patients and their families at the end of life. The wards at St Christopher’s also offer opportunities for clinical placements for healthcare staff learning about end-of-life care, ranging from student nurses to doctors and nurses involved in setting up palliative care services.
To succeed in this role
You will be a resilient practitioner with a keen interest in improving patient care, with experience working at Senior Staff Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager level in specialist palliative care or oncology. It is equally important that you demonstrate good computer skills, are an excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing), and have a passion for promoting Equality and Diversity.
