Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Solutions Architect with innovative ideas on how technology can positively transform services and effectively address business challenges? Our Architecture and Assurance Team within the Digital, Data, and Technology department is seeking a Solutions Architect on a full-time permanent basis to be part of a team delivering and enabling Digital Excellence across the Organisation. You will work proactively at a strategic level as technical governance within the IS department and Force.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish architectural principles, policies, and standards; responsible for governance, solving complex and high-risk issues, or delivering architecture design.
- Lead on technical strategy, including the force cloud adoption strategy.
- Conduct horizon scanning across industry, identify emerging trends, and assess their potential impact and opportunities for the organisation; proactively seek digital transformation opportunities.
The must haves
- A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field, or demonstrable work experience.
- Experience in Solutions and/or Enterprise Architecture.
- Proven experience designing solutions within secure networks ensuring compliance with accreditation regimes.
- Familiarity with web architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and DBMS architectures.
- Proficiency with architecture tools & utilities such as CaseWise, MS Visio, PowerPoint.
