About the role: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join the Admissions Team within the world-class Imperial College School of Medicine. The School harnesses excellence to provide a unique, research-led student experience. Your work here will help create the next generation of doctors and scientists – benefiting patients and populations globally.

What you would be doing: You will support the Admissions Manager and the Director of Admissions, and work with the rest of the Admissions team, to deliver all aspects of the selection process at department level for the undergraduate MBBS Medicine programme. You will have strong communication and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate extensive administration experience. Alongside the team, you will provide administrator support for setting the thresholds for Medicine admissions selection via the medicine admission test. You will support the running of the Multiple Mini Interviews (asynchronous/online/face-to-face) and the shortlisting process and the delivery of the Medicine Open Day, as well as other marketing and recruitment events. You will provide an excellent, customer-focused service to respond to enquiries of varying complexity from tutors, academic staff, applicants and current students.

What we are looking for: You have experience in an administration role within admissions or a comparable role with transferrable skills. You have experience of organising and running events. You excel at interpersonal skills and have the ability to deal pleasantly, confidently, diplomatically and effectively with face-to-face enquiries and occasional telephone calls during interview time. You have a high level of computer literacy, and are a confident user of standard office applications, in particular Excel. You are experienced at working independently and as part of a larger team in a large and complex organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues.
