Join our Enterprise Operational Resilience team as a part-time (4-day/week), fully remote Program Analyst—drive enterprise-wide resilience initiatives, tooling, and strategy across WTW. This is a great opportunity within the Enterprise Operational Resilience team for a Program Analyst who will be responsible for driving continuous improvement of sound resilience practices across WTW’s Segments, functions and processes - with a focus on ensuring implementation / maturity of enterprise-wide capabilities and enablers.

The position will drive or support multiple initiatives including developing / enhancing resilience-based tooling, data management, governance and reporting capabilities as part of the overall organizational Operational Resilience strategic goals and ambitions. The role will require extensive collaboration with multiple internal teams and stakeholders including Technology, Information & Cyber Security, Supplier Risk and Enterprise Risk Management to ensure initiative outcomes are met within prescribed timelines.

Support the ongoing execution of the operational resilience strategy and plans, including development / maintenance of project plans, governance materials and status updates for the organization. Further support the implementation of specific operational resilience maturity driven initiatives including (but not limited to):

  • The development, design and operationalization of a new global operational resilience and business continuity planning tool.
  • The day-to-day management of the product, ensuring its smooth operation and reliability. This includes addressing user issues and requests, coordinating with the supplier for updates and improvements, and overseeing change management processes to ensure that all modifications are implemented smoothly and effectively, minimizing disruption to users.
  • The design / enhancement of dashboards and reporting to better visualise KPIs and KRIs relating to operational resilience and the regular production of reporting across business continuity, crisis management and wider essential services related risks and issues.
  • Execution of specific risk reduction related data analysis initiatives (from various sources) to identify trends and areas for potential resilience vulnerability improvement.
  • Support implementation of key global regulations related to operational resilience including contributing to assessments of compliance / gap analysis against new or emerging regulation / law.
  • Coordinate annual reviews of the operational resilience related policies, standards and controls and contribute to reviews of other key operational resilience related policies such as Technology resilience, Information & Cyber security, Supplier Risk Management, etc.
  • Support the continued execution of the broader operational resilience strategy, supporting policy, procedures and plans, creating key update / progress summary updates for all levels of stakeholders across the firm.
  • Work collaboratively across segment and functional teams to ensure embedding and maturity of resilience controls, execution approach and alignment to operational resilience strategy.
  • Partner with Enterprise Risk Management to ensure interlock to the overall operational risk management requirements, tooling and reporting for operational resilience.
  • Develop further process excellence efficiencies by leveraging new data, automation and AI capabilities to further enhance understanding of resilience posture across the firm.
  • Promote awareness and engagement in operational resilience best practice across the Segments and functions through training, collaboration and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of global operational resilience related regulations including UK, EU (DORA), Singapore and Ireland specific requirements.
  • Good understanding of regulations related to Ops Res specific domains covering business continuity, crisis management, supplier risk management and disaster recovery.
  • Experience in a similar operational resilience or risk-based role within the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Experience in analysing structured and unstructured data sets and drawing actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in intermediate to advanced data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling) and Power BI (data visualization, dashboard creation, data analysis expressions (DAX).
  • Effective communicator with experience conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner with the ability to tailor messages to the intended audience.
  • Previous project management experience with ability to lead cross functional initiatives is essential.
  • A proactive problem solver with a results driven attitude and a commitment to overcoming challenges to deliver success.
  • An operational resilience or risk management certification is desirable. E.g. CBCI, CBCP, ISO 22301, CRM.
