Responsibilities:- Financial analysis and investigations of business unit financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cashflows and variances
- Performance based reporting including P&L's, balance sheets and cost controls with a focus maximising profits
- Go beyond numbers and provide commentary and interpretation, presenting advice and exploiting opportunities to aid business decisions
- Financial governance and control initiatives, driving process improvement and ensuring risks are mitigated
- Reviewing general ledgers, period close and reporting
- Qualified Accountant, either recently or with post qualified experience in ACCA, ACA / ICAEW, CIMA or equivalent
- A technically strong background along with a commercial, forward-thinking attitude
- Competent IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc)
- Highly organised with ability to develop and maintain business working relationships
