About the role
We have a great opportunity for an MRI Technologist to join our hardworking team across our Tauranga branches, working 4.5 days a week. This role involves contributing to an efficient MRI service of the highest quality and supporting the Charge MRI in providing exceptional MRI services to patients, referrers, and funders. A typical day may include:
- Performing MRI imaging using safe practice techniques and established protocols
- Completing MRI analysis according to standards
- Managing effective booking systems to maximize available appointments
- Compiling rosters and pay sheets for MRI staff in consultation with the Charge MRI
- Overseeing training of staff and students within the MRI department
- Ensuring equipment is maintained and reporting any malfunctions
About you
Ideally, you will have experience as an MRI Technologist with advanced knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and procedures. You should also have:
- A commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care
- A desire to work with a professional, friendly team using the latest MRI technology
- Willingness to work flexible hours
