As the General Manager at Amberley Hall Care Home, you will be responsible for leading the care home team to deliver high quality relationship-centred care for all residents, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and achieving business targets.
About Amberley Hall Care Home: Award-winning Amberley Hall is one of the top residential care homes in Kings Lynn. About The Role: The General Manager will motivate, support, inspire and empower all team members in the home to deliver outcomes for the home and operate in alignment with the Athena vision and values. You will lead all heads of department to ensure they meet the Athena standards and aim to become ‘Outstanding’ in all aspects of the CQC framework.
Salary: Competitive.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week.
Home Location: Baldock Drive, King's Lynn, England, PE30 3DQ.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for pro-actively managing all aspects of the home, leading and inspiring the team in all departments to deliver outstanding care to our residents.
- Take ownership of the recruitment, performance and development of the team - ensuring the home is fully staffed and rotas are prepared and available in advance.
- Ensure the home meets and exceeds all aspects of compliance and standards, set both internally and externally.
- Manage the financial budgets to ensure targets are met, including overall spending and agency usage.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of two year’s management experience of a care home, with a proven track record of delivering high quality care.
- Qualified RN/RGN/RMN is desirable but not essential.
- Registered Managers Award / ILM 5 in Management or equivalent.
