The Enterprise Applications Support Analyst will focus on providing daily support for key software applications and multiple ERP platforms in use throughout the business. This position involves collaborating with global colleagues and active engagement with our ERP System and Project Management teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily monitoring and management of enterprise applications within the business, with extensive knowledge of ERP systems, primarily Microsoft Navision.
- Resolving incidents and requests in line with the defined ITIL based processes and agreed Business service level agreements.
- Producing data extracts via application client or SQL when required.
- Delivering IT support and troubleshooting for Bodycote Enterprise Applications and end users in a predominantly Windows environment.
- Facilitating knowledge transfer across the Group and customer base including end user training and Knowledge Base contributions.
- Identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective action to better Group IT Service Delivery.
- Contributing to the technical Change Advisory Board specific to relevant ERPs.
- Engagement in new and upcoming IT projects relating to Enterprise Applications and service improvement.
- Representing Group IT within the business and at all times delivering world class customer service.
- Collaboration with a global Bodycote Group IT presence supporting over 4,500 IT users in 180+ locations.
- 3 years’ experience in delivering Application Support in a complex corporate environment.
- Minimum 12 months experience with Microsoft Navision (versions 3.7 to 4.0, client version 2009).
- Experience working in a structured ITIL based service delivery framework.
- Must have a flexible approach and excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Must be able to deal with customers / suppliers / peers at all levels in a professional manner.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent active listening and analytical skills.
- Ability to work and deliver results to defined deadlines.
- Availability to travel when required.
- Understanding of business finance and accounting procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer facing role supporting a complex Windows based environment.
- Experience with Navision manufacturing modules.
- ITIL Certified to Foundation Level.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft cloud-based technologies such as, Office 365 and Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL databases.
- French or German language skills.
