A leading engineering and robotics company is seeking an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Build Technician to join their team on a 12-month contract in Bristol. This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of precision, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble precision mechanical and electrical components to engineering drawings
- Conduct quality assurance checks on optical and mechanical assemblies
- Kit components for builds in line with technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineers to build and improve test rigs using rapid prototyping tools (e.g. 3D printing, laser cutting)
- Run basic software scripts for testing purposes
- Inspect incoming mechanical parts and ensure compliance with drawings
- Document QA and build procedures clearly and accurately
- Manage goods-in and organise outbound shipments
- Maintain a safe, organised, and positive workshop environment
Required Skills & Experience:
