Our client is an established law firm recognised and trusted for providing a range of quality legal services, for which ‘client satisfaction’ is paramount. They are now seeking a Legal Assistant to join their growing team.
Salary: £25.3k with a view to increase after 1 year
The Role:
- To assist the Private Client Department on a caseload of Probate files including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and general Probate matters
- To eventually build up skills and knowledge to be able to run and manage a caseload of Probate files under the strict supervision of the Managing Partner
- To ensure that all cases are dealt with in compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards
- To practice good file management and ensure that cases are handled in accordance with client service standards
- Ensure all important dates are diarised
- Keep up to date with all correspondence relating to files
- Liaise with clients
- Attend on Clients in meetings and take initial instructions
- Undertake any administrative duties required
- Comply with company practices and procedures
The Person:
- LLB in Law
- Keyboard and ICT, including use of case management systems.
