The Hotel Engineer Supervisor attends periodic visits on board vessels during operations performing inspections and audits overseeing projects, renovations or refurbishments in all guest, public and crew areas throughout the vessel, preparing reports and making written recommendations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Ensures that maintenance is performed according to Company standards as well as environmental and health standards.
- Leads and manages maintenance teams establishing guidelines.
- Oversees the planning of all dry-dock works.
- Manages ships requests and ensures cost-effectiveness.
- Advises company on Energy Saving efficiencies and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintains daily contacts with Engine Officers on board.
- Assists vessels in solving technical issues in the Hotel areas.
- Works collaboratively with the Engine Superintendents.
- Manages all the planned and unplanned jobs in the Hotel areas.
Fluent English, oral and written. 5 years experience on board of cruise vessels, at least 2 years as hotel engineer. MS Office tools knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Good knowledge of Fidelio, MMS system. Amos knowledge is a plus. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work successfully as part of a team. Strong ability to prioritise and work effectively under tight deadlines.
VISA REQUIREMENTS: Existing right to work in the UK is preferred.
