The Role
As a senior / Lead Python engineer, you will join this business at the early stages of building a greenfield platform. You will work closely with the director of engineering and product to deliver a highly scalable backend for a next-generation social media app aimed at educating ambitious professionals with content from some of the brightest minds in tech.
You will:
- Provide technical leadership for a team of backend engineers. While you will not need to line manage them, you will provide mentorship from a technical perspective.
- Define architecture and help decide on technology choices.
- Work closely with the frontend team to integrate APIs into client apps.
- Participate in code reviews.
