Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Operate various gauges and laboratory equipment to inspect and verify optical components.
- Communicating inspection results to relevant departments.
- Ensure manufactured parts meet specifications by comparing them to technical drawings.
- Prepare detailed test reports for measured components.
Qualifications and experience:
Necessary:
- GCSEs in English and Maths grade C or equivalent
- GCSE in Combined Science/Physics grade C or equivalent
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Desirable:
- Prior laboratory experience
- CAD experience
Other:
- Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:30-15:00
