The Project Manager-Interior Renovations, Workplace Planning role will specialise in the overall construction delivery and implementation of Northern Trust's workplace strategy, ensuring that all user and corporate requirements are met. The role will be based in London but will support projects across EMEA and APAC.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing pre-design, design, construction, and commissioning services within budget, scope, and schedule.
- Leading projects from an internal client perspective, coordinating stakeholders including internal clients, facilities management, global engineering, security, IT, communications, and change management.
- Controlling project costs, schedules, and quality assurance from design to project closeout.
- Anticipating potential problems and identifying solutions.
- Ensuring projects adhere to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Maintaining records and producing reports and presentations.
- Leading project teams, including technical disciplines, consultants, construction teams, and support staff.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and internal teams on scope, cost, and schedules.
- Managing project closeouts, punch lists, and snagging.
- Ensuring procurement compliance, reviewing payments, and monitoring invoices.
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Guiding selection of design professionals, preparing scopes of work, interviewing vendors, and evaluating credentials.
- Monitoring project funding, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Managing critical milestones to avoid delays.
- Reviewing proposals and pricing.

- Presenting to end-user groups and reporting to senior management.
