About the Job:
We are seeking a Night Luggage Porter to join Jumeirah Carlton Tower. Key responsibilities include:
- Tidying the luggage area and Concierge desk as required.
- Managing the main telephone switchboard when needed.
- Handling requests at the Concierge desk professionally and courteously.
- Assisting in hotel security by reporting suspicious persons or activities to the Night Manager.
- Preparing proper handovers for the morning shift.
- Delivering extra beds, turndown beds, and cleaning rooms as requested by the Night Manager.
- Parking cars safely and issuing correct dockets with complete details.
- Preparing Banqueting Boards and guiding guests to functions.
- Being aware of work schedules and providing adequate notice for absences.
- Reporting incidents, complaints, suspicious persons, or hazards immediately.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A UK driving license.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality.
- Strong customer service skills, capable of providing personalized and professional service.
- Knowledge of luggage handling procedures and proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
