A leading Academic Health Science Centre is seeking an Operations Consultant to support a short-term engagement focused on reviewing and strengthening its research delivery model across NHS and academic partners. With a growing focus on clinical research, innovation and cross-sector collaboration, the organisation is looking to ensure its operating model and strategic initiatives are well positioned to deliver on national priorities and local impact. Particularly in light of NHS transformation, commercial trial opportunities and the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI.
Responsibilities:
- Review the current operating model and identify areas for improvement
- Lead programme management of key research improvement workstreams
- Coordinate with senior leadership and strategic advisers to drive delivery
- Support strategic initiatives including trial capacity growth and AI adoption
Requirements:
- 4β5 yearsβ consulting experience, ideally from a top-tier firm
- Background in healthcare, life sciences or pharma (consulting or academic)
- Strong communication skills, confident engaging senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage and deliver independent workstreams
