Job description:

  • Provisioning, detailed planning, design and implementation of core systems and services, including hardware, software, servers and applications.
  • Network element configuration including day-to-day service delivery.
  • Network and server implementation and optimization.
  • Consideration of the most profitable system and implementation methods.
  • Creation of handover documents, providing internal training as necessary.
  • Documentation for implementation and modification.
  • Development and implementation of new features and services.
  • Migration planning and execution.
  • Proof of concept testing and acceptance testing.
  • Vendor negotiation and control.
  • 2nd/3rd level troubleshooting with relation to company divisions and external customers if required & escalation contact (if necessary, outside of working hours).

Requirements:

  • Extensive work experience in LINUX/Windows server environments.
  • ISP related server application knowledge and experience. I.E. SMTP, DNS, HTTP, Radius.
  • Detailed knowledge of monitoring applications such as zabbix, nagios, icinga, SolarWinds, OpManager and others.
  • Detailed knowledge of server and storage hardware.
  • Detailed knowledge of server security hardening.
  • Detailed knowledge of server virtualization (hypervisor).
  • Facility Management, Network Cabling, Equipment Installation.
