Job description:
- Provisioning, detailed planning, design and implementation of core systems and services, including hardware, software, servers and applications.
- Network element configuration including day-to-day service delivery.
- Network and server implementation and optimization.
- Consideration of the most profitable system and implementation methods.
- Creation of handover documents, providing internal training as necessary.
- Documentation for implementation and modification.
- Development and implementation of new features and services.
- Migration planning and execution.
- Proof of concept testing and acceptance testing.
- Vendor negotiation and control.
- 2nd/3rd level troubleshooting with relation to company divisions and external customers if required & escalation contact (if necessary, outside of working hours).
Requirements:
- Extensive work experience in LINUX/Windows server environments.
- ISP related server application knowledge and experience. I.E. SMTP, DNS, HTTP, Radius.
- Detailed knowledge of monitoring applications such as zabbix, nagios, icinga, SolarWinds, OpManager and others.
- Detailed knowledge of server and storage hardware.
- Detailed knowledge of server security hardening.
- Detailed knowledge of server virtualization (hypervisor).
- Facility Management, Network Cabling, Equipment Installation.
