About The Team

Our Data Analytics team is on an exciting journey to build a scalable, well-structured, and high-quality data ecosystem that empowers our strategic workstreams in marketing, customer experience, product and integrations. But our impact goes far beyond that. We support a wide variety of internal teams including Finance and HR, ensuring that every part of the business has the data they need to make informed decisions.

We’re in the process of standardizing our data practices, optimizing our reporting tools, and centralizing business logic, creating a huge opportunity to make a lasting impact. Your Contribution

  • Design and develop efficient and scalable data models and data marts (e.g. star schema, snowflake schema) using best practices for data warehousing and business intelligence that are optimized for self-service analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g. finance, marketing, operations) to gather and document detailed business requirements for new data models.
  • Proactively identify new business areas and data domains that would benefit from centralized, standardized, and optimized data models.
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews to understand data usage patterns and reporting needs.
  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, and interactive exercises, to facilitate effective learning.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience in previous Business Intelligence, Data Visualization or Analytical roles.
  • Strong proficiency in dbt, SQL, dimensional data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Experience in product usage analytics.
  • Experience in multiple BI tools (e.g. Metabase, Qlik Sense, Looker, Google Data Studio).
  • Significant experience with Python scripting for data extraction, processing, automation tasks.
  • Proven track record to translate business requirements into effective dashboards and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage APIs for robust data connections and efficient data exploration.
  • Exposure to IBM Planning Analytics or similar.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Advocate for data visualization best practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
