As part of this exciting growth journey, we’re seeking an IFS Finance Consultant to play a key role in the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of our IFS ERP solution. You’ll collaborate closely with our Finance and IT teams to ensure our financial systems not only meet regulatory and accounting standards but also support our wider business objectives. Key Accountabilities:

  • IFS Implementation & Configuration: Configure and implement IFS Finance modules, including Project Financials, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets and Budgeting. Implementing new companies to maximise consistency and integration between Group entities.
  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with clients to analyse financial workflows, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements using IFS solutions.
  • Solution Design: Develop and document functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and customisations in IFS.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using IFS Finance modules. Working with external consultants and maximising/utilising the support contract with external clients.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop and customise financial reports and dashboards within IFS to support decision-making.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication during IFS implementation and upgrades.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure that all financial processes configured in IFS align with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with technical teams and business users to introduce new functionalities and improvements to the IFS system.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with ERP systems, particularly in finance modules.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Expert understanding of financial processes, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and reporting requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Desirable experience: Degree in Finance or formal certification: Certified Accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) IFS certifications or IFS Academy courses completed. Experience with IFS Cloud or latest IFS versions. Experience working in consulting industry using IFS. Project Experience: Hands-on experience with at least one full lifecycle IFS implementation or upgrade. Technical Skills: Experience in SQL queries, IFS Reporting and Power BI.
