The predicted salary is between 27711 - 32654 £ per year.
An opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated team of officers, which is at the heart of the Council, supporting both elected members and the Corporate Leadership Team. The primary role of the positions are to provide comprehensive, proactive and high quality support to the Elected Mayor/Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidates will also be required to provide support to other members of the Executive and Corporate Leadership Team. You may also be required to support the council’s formal decision-making processes by attending other committee meetings.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding and experience of supporting senior elected members, managers and the Council’s decision-making processes. An awareness of the political environment both nationally and locally is essential. You will be required to undertake some duties outside of normal office hours to attend meetings and/or civic events for which time off in lieu is given.
As we have more than one vacancy both permanent and temporary (up to 2 years) we welcome applications from people wishing to apply for these on a full or part time basis.
