Yes, we need someone who can manage ER casework and compliance with confidence. But even more, we’re looking for someone who wants to shape culture, empower managers, and build a people-first environment that helps every individual do their best work.
What You’ll Do- Partner with purpose – Work side-by-side with managers across operations and support functions to help them lead well and grow strong, effective teams.
- Coach and guide – Be a trusted advisor, helping leaders tackle challenges, improve performance, and proactively manage change.
- Drive engagement – Develop and deliver strategies that build a connected, inclusive culture. That includes everything from performance reviews and talent planning to listening sessions and employee feedback.
- Own the process – Improve and deliver key HR processes like succession planning, compliance, onboarding, and training, always with clarity, consistency, and care.
- Use data to do better – Bring insights to the table using people data, feedback, and reporting, not just numbers for the sake of numbers, but to inform action.
- CIPD Level 5 (or working toward it) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in HR, including at least 2–3 years in a business partner role.
- A track record of resolving complex employee relations cases and navigating change with confidence and empathy.
- Strong experience with employee engagement and development strategy.
- A clear communicator who adapts to different people and situations with ease.
- Experience in a regulated or fast-paced environment – ideally both.
At Acuity, we don’t believe HR is just there to “enforce the rules.” You’ll be part of shaping how people feel about their work and their growth, not from the sidelines, but right at the centre. We want someone who’s hands-on, thoughtful, and excited about doing things differently.
This role gives you the freedom to lead, to influence, and to make a real impact on how we work, grow, and thrive together.
