You will lead the BIM/CAD team, ensuring drawing/model quality, compliance, and standards. Responsibilities include training teams, managing documentation, and serving as the main BIM/CAD contact.
Our client will consider candidates from further afield as long as they are happy to travel to the office 1 day per week minimum.
The Role:
- Develop and enforce BIM processes, standards, and compliance (e.g., ISO 19650, IFC, COBie).
- Manage BIM documentation (BEPs, MPDTs), training, and technical support.
- Oversee BIM budgets, software, and hardware resources.
- Conduct audits, ensure data accuracy, and implement best practices.
- Coordinate BIM activities, clash detection, and quality assurance.
The Person:
- BIM Manager experience with strong knowledge of ISO 19650.
- Expertise in BIM workflows, model auditing, and execution plans.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and data exchange formats.
- BIM certification or formal qualification.
