Now seeking a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle to join on a temporary basis in Warwickshire. The role A Motor Vehicle Lecturer / Instructor Technician to join the team at their campus based in Rugby to deliver theory and practical sessions in levels 1-3 in their motor vehicle course. Hours: 37 hours Contract Duration: Commencing asap – TBD Pay rate: £25-£35 p/hr You will take responsibility for: * Playing and integral role in supporting students working towards their levels 1-3 motor vehicle qualifications. * Delivering both practical and theory sessions * Writing schemes of work and developing lesson plans * Manage and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards and performing necessary maintenance. * Marking work, tracking student progress and providing feedback to support plans. What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following: * Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a workshop / automotive environment * NVQ/C&G/IMI Qualified in motor vehicles or similar subject area * Good electrical and mechanical knowledge of motor vehicles, light vehicle chassis, engines, and transmission systems * Previous experience in a supervisory/tutoring or similar position * Ideally has an Assessors award or equivalent * An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months is required for this role.
