Summary/Objective: The role of the Assistant Property Manager is to interact with tenants as you handle a variety of issues including collections, lease administration, and complaints. You will also ensure proper and timely maintenance of the property itself via visual inspections and coordination with the maintenance staff.
Classification: Non-exempt (overtime eligible)
Location: Clarkston, GA 30021
Essential function/Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Conducting daily arrears collections, including resident visit follow-ups as needed
- Overseeing the resident move-in and move-out process
- Inspecting all units prior to move-ins and after all move-outs
- Working in conjunction with maintenance staff on the administration of work order requests
- Assisting the PM with conducting annual unit inspections to ensure compliance with Tax Credit Regulatory standards
- Ensuring on-time collection and completion of all annual resident certifications
- Processing new move-in packages
- Preparing Section 8 packages for reviewing supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in the field of Property Management, including experience with Section 8
- Familiarity with affordable housing
- Experience managing maintenance staff, a plus
- Understanding of annual certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with unions is a plus
Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00
