Citadel Source are delighted to be partnering with a leading PLC to support the search for a new Risk and Compliance Manager, to play a pivotal role in developing their global risk and compliance capabilities. There will be opportunity to move into the wider business in a finance, operations or project role if that is something you wish to pursue.
The Role
As the Risk and Compliance Manager, you will have the opportunity to travel the world as part of a listed PLC, performing site reviews across the globe. You will get to see the business from top to bottom, gaining exposure to strategy at all levels to provide insights to risks and compliance issues. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a curious, proactive finance professional, who wants to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment and play a vital part in developing a PLC's approach to risk and compliance.
About you
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong foundation in internal/external audit, controls and risk management. You’ll be curious, collaborative and enthusiastic, capable of dealing with stakeholders at all levels, from C-Suite to operational heads. It will be necessary to have confidence in managing projects and adapting to change and ambiguity.
As the Risk and Compliance Manager your role will include but not be limited to:
- Owning and leading the planning, management and performance of control reviews
- Driving the continual improvement of testing plans to focus on key risk areas
- Leading training and knowledge sharing across the global community of control owners, mentoring stakeholders on compliance and risk related subjects
- Supporting the promotion of a positive risk culture, developing the enterprise risk process
- Interacting with stakeholders across all levels of the business, advising and supporting on risk/control related issues
- Managing a substantial number of projects throughout the year, adapting to the continual growth and change within the business
