Hours: 20 hours per week SE England to cover Salisbury Plain, Bovington, Blandford, Aldershot and Colchester hubs with hybrid working.

About Us
The Royal Air Force Families Federation (RAFFF) exists to improve the quality of life for the RAF family around the world – at work or at home. We provide an independent voice for Serving personnel and their families and is a confidential service that relies upon the integrity and professionalism of its staff to deliver a Federation that is both credible and respected by all parties. The Military Coworking Network is an Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust project that is managed by the RAFFF who are based at RAF Wittering.
About the role
Based in the South East of England to focus on the growth of the Hub membership. The Hub Community Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting our Military Coworking communities by creating a collaborative environment and ensuring that members are supported, the spaces are run effectively and there is a vibrant and happy Coworking community in every location. The role supports and develops the link between military partners who use the hubs and key military base personnel at each location, as well as collaborating with the wider Military Coworking Network project delivery team and a range of other local authority and voluntary sector providers.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the designated hubs, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with hub members to understand their needs and gather insights to shape the hub’s offerings, with regular visits to the hubs.
- Service Delivery: Plan and deliver community-building programs, activities, and services that meet the needs of the community.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with local organisations and partners to expand the hub’s reach and resources.
- Marketing: Together with the Marketing and Hub Leads, plan and deliver any local marketing activities to raise awareness of the hub and grow membership, including use of local social media channels and opportunities.
About you
Our ideal colleague will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude to ensure we can grow the hub membership. With a background in sales, hospitality or business operations, you will be a confident networker with the ability to promote and digitally market our service. You will be our ambassador to promote the Military Coworking Network and will visit hubs and represent us at events such as family days as well as hub events. We offer time off in lieu/flexible working to cover the times when you may work a longer day when visiting locations. Overall, we are looking for someone who can take accountability, strive to continuously improve and develop our offer and take immense pride in being part of the Military Coworking Network delivery team!
