Located in Balham's leafy Bedford hill and decorated with 1940s flourishes, our first club in South London features a custom horseshow bar with a special ceiling mural by local artist Miranda Forrester. The Snug on the raised mezzanine level plays host to member events and screening and the club restaurant. The club's Pen Yen restaurant on the ground floor offers Japanese izakaya-style dining with a few tables outside for alfresco dining.

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our South London team at Little House Balham (SW12 9DS). As a Waiter/Waitress with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Your main responsibility is to ensure that members have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations and paying of the bill.

What we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile hospitality venue.
  • Team player who communicates well with all colleagues.
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Yes, yes, yes mentality.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a genuine passion for food and beverage.
  • Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required.

Mon – Weds – 8am to 12am.

Saturday – 9am to 12:30am.
