Branch Manager required for a large electrical wholesale company with multiple branches in the UK. Our client has an exciting career opportunity for an individual to lead a small team of staff to build on the success and drive the business forward.
Building and developing the business based on your previous success within the electrical supplies sector, you will steer the business to deliver a customer service second to none and to achieve further growth by surpassing the sales, margin and commercial targets.
The Role:
- To ensure the achievement of the branch business plan within timescale, budget and agreed KPIs.
- To deliver the required sales, margin and profit performance.
- To recruit, motivate and develop your team to achieve success.
- To develop specific local initiatives that drive the sales and margin performance and to support corporate initiatives and promotions.
- To improve operational standards, ensuring that you have the right stock at the right time to service your customer base and to maximise opportunities.
- To develop a strong and balanced customer base.
The Person:
- Strong sales experience within the electrical wholesale sector is essential.
- Sales driven with strong management skills and experience of managing a variety of people.
- Excellent people and relationship building skills.
- Must be financially and commercially astute, with strong analytical skills.
- IT literate (MS Word, Excel & Outlook) and experience of CRM / stock ordering systems.
This is a full-time permanent position. Monday - Friday only. Salary depending on experience plus bonus scheme, car, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
