Clair has spent a lot of her life in a long stay hospital, and at times she is struggling to adjust to having her own home. She needs support in this area. Clair already has a great team and is looking for additional staff to support her in the next chapter of her life, which is to increase her independence and build on her confidence.
Clair is very independent, so there is minimal requirement for her team to support her around her home. However, she does need reassurance around her emotions and help to make sense of these. She has Autism and can find the world a little confusing and frustrating at times. When Clair is happy and well, she is great company and loves to get out and about. She enjoys dog walking and has a fondness for the 80's vibe and music associated with this era.
Clair is looking for caring and empathic support staff who can understand the journey she has been on. Candidates should have a mature outlook with a good level of emotional intelligence, not take things personally, and be prepared to work with Clair to support her in achieving her potential. It is an incredibly rewarding job, and we offer full training that will support both personal and professional development.

Working Patterns: Day and night shifts
Essential details: We are committed to recruiting candidates who share our commitment to safeguarding, and therefore we apply robust recruitment and selection procedures to ensure that the people selected are right for the job. All candidates are appropriately screened prior to appointment, including obtaining references and DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) clearance. A DBS check will be requested in the event of the individual being offered a position with Beyond Limits, the cost of which will be to the employee, however, this will be returned after successful completion of the probation period (6 months). After probation, salary will be increased to Β£12.86/hour.
