Key Responsibilities:
- Reliable Deliveries and Collections: Execute precise deliveries and collections, ensuring all goods are transported securely and punctually.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the depot team to meet stringent deadlines while upholding high standards of service and safety.
- Administrative Accuracy: Diligently complete all required documentation, including delivery notes, timesheets, and relevant paperwork.
- Tramper Duties: For those in tramper roles, overnight stays will be required to support long-distance deliveries.
What Youβll Need:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence. A HIAB certificate is also required if applying for a HIAB-specific role.
- Possession of a CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Prior experience in an HGV driving role similar to this is essential.
- A clean driving record with no more than 6 points on your licence, and no serious convictions (DD, DR, or IN).
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.
