Our client, a leading OEM manufacturer, is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team on a day shift role, based in Washington. This role is ideal for an experienced Maintenance Technician seeking to advance into a position with site responsibilities, supported by the Engineering Manager. This is a multiskilled role with a bias on Electrical and Hydraulic Systems.

The Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician:
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all key assets and manufacturing equipment. This position involves both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the site.
Other responsibilities include:
- All site maintenance including both pre-planned and reactive.
- Generate and communicate all maintenance/service plans alongside the Engineering Manager.
- Lead maintenance tasks and manage maintenance documentation.
- Project improvements in equipment, speed, cost reduction and quality.
About You – Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician:
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will have a background in maintenance within a production or manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on electrical and hydraulic systems.
Other requirements include:
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Electrical and Hydraulic fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical maintenance.
- BTEC Higher National Diploma in engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel.
