Sofina Foods is seeking dependable and driven Night Shift General Operatives to join our team. Based at our production facility, you’ll be instrumental in preparing, assembling, and packaging food products to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role where attention to safety, hygiene, and quality is essential. Whether you’re operating machinery or ensuring accurate labelling and documentation, your work supports the delivery of trusted products enjoyed by customers every day.
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:00
Pay: £13.84 per hour
As a general operative you will:
- Prepare, manufacture, and pack food products in line with company specifications and standards
- Follow health and safety practices to work safely and responsibly at all times
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Clean equipment and workspaces before and during production, following the ‘Clean As You Go’ policy
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet daily targets while maintaining product quality
- Operate machinery as trained, supporting production flow across various areas as needed
- Report any hazards, defects, or near misses to the Line Optimiser promptly
- Ensure accurate labelling for traceability and complete all necessary paperwork and monitoring checks
- Follow procedures for machine changeovers and escalate any issues that may impact production
- Comply with Hellenic Systems protocols and participate in continuous improvement efforts
