We’re looking for a Power BI expert with experience in contact centre data to create compelling visual reports that drive performance and inform strategic decisions. If you’re a strong communicator who thrives on turning complex data into user-friendly solutions, this could be the perfect role for you.
In this role you’ll develop data visualisation reporting and insights to promote understanding, drive performance in our operational areas and inform wider business strategy. You will engage with stakeholders across the business, delivering high quality and easily consumable data visualisations in line with business requirements.

- Develop and maintain Data Visualisation reporting and analysis that has business wide consumption and benefit, to direct business strategies and drive service delivery
- Engage with stakeholders across the business and external partners to determine requirements
- Analyse large data sets interpreting into actionable insights
- Validate the accuracy of the data
- Identify key themes for analysis and make recommendations for strategic direction
- Provide analysis of performance trends to identify variation, opportunities, and risks
- Apply best practices and principles of data visualisation, such as colour, layout, and interactivity and maintain the dashboards to business standards of quality and branding
- Continuously improve the capabilities of the reporting and analysis through maintaining a knowledge of the latest innovations
- Clearly communicate quantitative and qualitative findings to senior stakeholders so that they can make data-led strategic decisions
- Provide full documentation of Data Visualisation developments to minimise key person dependencies
- Be responsible for coaching data visualisation to colleagues within the team or wider business and delegate responsibility where appropriate
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for data visualisations through work experience and/or qualifications
- Comply with the requirements, and act in accordance with, the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times
- Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards/regulations always
- Any other reasonable duties
- Background in Data Visualisation both from a development and deployment and self-service enablement perspective
- Strong technical knowledge of modern Data Visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI and ThoughtSpot
- Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance products, processes, and services
- Able to develop relationships and work with others to drive desired outcomes
- The ability to work under pressure, dealing with multiple tasks or requests simultaneously
- Experience in changing the ways individuals consume data, embedding a culture away from hindsight reporting to insight enablement
- Good understanding of Visualisation market trends
- Knowledge of FCA requirements (including individual responsibilities in relation to Consumer Duty)
- Proficiency in data mining and analysis
- Excellent Power BI development skills
- Good Data Visualisation skills, based on UX design principles
- Data artisan – can tell a story with the data in a dashboard
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good time management and organisation skills
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and implementing solutions
- Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with a broad brief and create shape and structure to deliver outcomes
